The Vocation of Aviation

As some of us graduate from high school, we are looking for a career that calls to us. If you're looking for a career that allows you to travel and pays well, then look no further then aviation. Becoming an aviator could be a good career choice for you. Not only is there a very high demand for pilots, the industry has many different types of jobs.! If you’re looking for some action and excitement? Well, maybe try working with a search and rescue crew searching for missing people from the air. If that's not what you are looking for then maybe you’d like to admire the view for hours at a time at 35,000 feet in an airliner. But the job options don’t stop there if you decide to pursue this career field there is a job that will fit your lifestyle.

It may seem like this industry is hard to get into, but it’s not as hard as you may think. I myself have done it. I started by looking into schools near me. I found that there are many great schools in the country, and in the Denver area that could provide an outstanding education. There are also scholarships for up and coming pilots provided by the FAA as well as private aviation organizations. According to Zip Recruiter once you receive all your training and qualifications you could make up to $65,000 in your first year. If you stick with it you could be making upwards of $200,000 a year depending on where you get a job! For example, along with the great pay, some companies such as UPS offer retirement benefits. The high demand for pilots will also provide you with plenty of job security. I would highly encourage anyone that thinks they might have an interest in aviation to consider it as a career option.
